lhee asked: We have refinance our mortgage last April and until now it is not done yet. We have been waiting for our agent’s call for the signing of the loan doc. Now a friend says since June has already started we have to wait for another three weeks because he said loan usually closes few days before the end of the month. How true is this?

dmmatic asked: My parents purchased house 3 years ago and at that time they were told they should refinance their house.
They have two loans:
Loan 1) $134,900.00 - 360 months - 6.375% - Monthly Payment 673.38
Loan 2) $44,975.00 - 360 months - 8.750% - Monthly Payment $358.04
Loans that they have are from two different companies. Because of the financial situation now, should my parents go and refinance their house?

foolish heart asked: I have my vehicle financed through the dealership I bought it from (big mistake, never do this!) and they are not reporting it on my credit. I have never missed a payment and I pay $436.25 a month for my vehicle. Have paid it for fifteen months, never late. I really really want to get my vehicle refinanced now but cannot because I am not getting any credit for my loan with the dealership. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

indy_peru asked: When I bought my house a year ago I was a subprime borrower. I have a mortgage through Option One a known predatory lender. However I have made all my payments on time and havnt had one problem. In one year my 2 year pre-payment penalty will be up as well as my ARM. My credit score has gone from 580 to 625. It is my understanding that the point in getting these subprime loans is to get your credit in order so in two years you can get a normal, fixed rate. Is this a correct assumption? I am asking because so many people are foreclosing on these ARM and subprime loans. Is it that these folks cant get refinanced? Will I be able to refinance? Thanks for all advice and opinions.

Derrick W asked: I want to refinance my current auto loan, and i don’t know alot about refinancing because i never did it before. First, how many payments do i have to make on time before i can check with different companies about refinancing? Some people have told me you can refinance after 6 months of on time payments. Second, how much will my payments or interest rate drop from my current rates? Third where is the company/bank to go for refinancing?

David D asked: I’ve also been performing all of the routine maintenance for the vehicle.
I want to know if I can have the primary buyer removed and myself placed as the sole buyer, without having to refinance, since I have less than a 700 credit score. The car is titled to both myself and the primary buyer, and this person wants to purchase a new vehicle. They need to be released some how from the current loan.
Any help with this is appreciated.
