Is short refinance working?

BM asked:


I’m planning to do a short refinance (get FHA loan and let lawyer to negotiate price reduction with a bank). Are banks doing price reductions? There are some companies doing this (ShortRefiMe), had anybody have experience with them?

   I’m in RE and short sells are a real pain. Ownes generally will accept just about anything and then the banks or lending institution take their sweet time getting back with their “no way”. Everybody seems to lose out….Personally, I stay clear of short sells…..
