Is there anything I can do to get credit for my auto loan?

I have my vehicle financed through the dealership I bought it from (big mistake, never do this!) and they are not reporting it on my credit. I have never missed a payment and I pay $436.25 a month for my vehicle. Have paid it for fifteen months, never late. Write a letter to the credit bureaus and submit proof that you have been paying your payments ontime. To do this you will need proof of payment ie. a bank statement, cancelled check, receipt, and a statement of your loan account showing the due date. This may be tidious to do but you can do it yourself if you show proof you have been, you cant just call and say iv’e been making auto loan payments. Hit up the experian, transunion, and equifax websites. They will have information on how to submit information on accounts that arent being reported. Hurry now if you dont have previous records of statements and forms of payment you wont be able to submit any prvious information. Save both of these items and start submitting the information now. It may be a few months before you can actually refinance unless you have other types of items being reported that are currently giving you a good credit score. Good luck!
